When he’s not navigating flight routes or airport terminals, you’ll find him in the mountains or putting another dash of hot sauce on his meal.

Jo is a dedicated animal snuggler with a heart full of compassion and an unwavering love for all creatures great and small. By day, she passionately teaches English to the “youths,” sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for the language. A true words nerd at heart, she finds immense joy and fulfillment in the power of literature and the beauty of expression.

Jo and Matt's love story began in the vast world of online connections, where two kindred spirits found each other amidst the digital noise. Their first brunch date at Portage Bay Cafe was a blend of anticipation and excitement, marked by intentional conversations that laid the groundwork for something special. They approached their budding relationship slowly, both in awe of the incredible connection they had discovered.

6 weeks later, a “minor medical emergency” helped them realize they couldn't imagine a future without each other. Later that year, they took a leap of faith and moved in together.

Embracing the philosophy that "a love worth celebrating" reflects the daily commitment they both cherish, Jo and Matt nurture their relationship with patience and care. They understand that love flourishes when tended to, and every moment together, through challenges and joys, is a celebration of their ever deepening affection.
